Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to invite your child to the PAMS Transition Day at Phoenixville Area Middle School on July 25^th from 8am-2pm, where they will learn how to RISE Up to the middle school. RISE is an acronym that represents respect, integrity, safety, and engagement and is woven into everything we do at PAMS. This day is designed to help orient students to our school culture and layout of the building to make their transition to middle school as smooth as possible.

During the PAMS Transition Day, your child will learn about our RISE Up Matrix, House Program, Bully Prevention Team, and clubs and activities in a fun an engaging way with the help of some of our fantastic teachers. These programs are designed to promote a positive school culture, ensure that all students feel welcome and included, and help your child succeed academically.

Additionally, your child will receive their schedule and password information during the program. This will be an opportunity for them to learn how to get to their classes and have the information necessary to log on to their laptops so they can access educational resources. They will also be taught how to use their lockers, which is an essential part of the middle school experience.

Students should be dropped off and picked up at the gym entrance. A free lunch will also be provided, but students can pack their own if they wish. Aside from this possible packed lunch, students do not need to bring anything with them.

We understand that transitioning to a new school can be challenging, and we want to do everything we can to support your child's success. The PAMS Transition Day is an excellent opportunity for your child to become familiar with the school and make new friends before the first day of classes.
