Registering and Connecting Your Device
Before your device can connect to the PASD network, you will need to obtain permission. Students need to obtain permission from a parent/guardian as well as PASD. This is to ensure that there are no “rogue” devices in the PASD network, and that the owners of the devices are aware that they are being taken to school.
The Technology Department will need to know specific information about your device before making the necessary adjustments to the network to allow it to connect. You will have to enter the information into the form here by clicking the following link: BYOT Registration
Student teachers will also need to hand in a signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) before being allowed to connect. Click here for our AUP. This form can be returned to the technology aide in your location or sent to the Technology Department located at the District Administration Offices.
Once the changes are made, the Technology Department will help you get your device connected, but that is where PASD’s responsibility for support ends. If you experience problems with your device, it is your responsibility to resolve the issue.
