PMEA District 12 5/6 String Fest Participants

Several PASD students had the opportunity to participate in the PMEA District 12 5/6 String Fest. These wonderful students rehearsed for the entire day at Downingtown West HS with a guest conductor and performed a concert that same evening. There were about 100 talented musicians from Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties playing in the orchestra. The students also had the unique opportunity to meet one of the composers and receive feedback on their performance of his works. The evening concert was beautifully performed – a wonderful culmination of their hard work!
Thank you for your constant support of the young musicians! This was a unique opportunity for them and they had a great experience!
